1300 hours on Dec. 18th and remained in
continuous operation until it was demobilized at
1715 hours on Dec. 24th.
Thirty Port employees worked 12 hour
operational periods, most working multiple shifts.
This is the longest continuous activation in Port
history -- 6 days.

Terminal Management

More than 4,000 people sheltered in the nonsecured
side of the terminal.
Canceled flights caused baggage congestion as
well as terminal crowding for rebooking.

Approximately 150 employees and other volunteers
assisted travelers in the terminal

An additional 50 employees staffed the snow desk and

Limitations of Translatable Documents

PDF files are created with text and images are placed at an exact position on a page of a fixed size.
Web pages are fluid in nature, and the exact positioning of PDF text creates presentation problems.
PDFs that are full page graphics, or scanned pages are generally unable to be made accessible, In these cases, viewing whatever plain text could be extracted is the only alternative.
