time to construction schedules.
Inflation/Escalation: Price instability. Early work packages allow the project to lock in pricing
Inflation/escalation make it difficult to estimate from contractor. Port to perform detailed vetting of
future costs. progress estimates and GMP packages.
Complex Phasing: The C Concourse Expansion is Project team brought on a General Contractor /
at the intersection of two concourses and next Construction Manager (GCCM) and they are working on
to an active bagwell access ramp. Phasing issues phasing plans that can be incorporated into the design
could impact the project schedule and budget and can be reviewed with stakeholders prior to the start
due to re-phasing and contractor change orders. of construction.

Limitations of Translatable Documents

PDF files are created with text and images are placed at an exact position on a page of a fixed size.
Web pages are fluid in nature, and the exact positioning of PDF text creates presentation problems.
PDFs that are full page graphics, or scanned pages are generally unable to be made accessible, In these cases, viewing whatever plain text could be extracted is the only alternative.
