APPROVED MINUTES 
COMMISSION SPECIAL MEETING DECEMBER 16, 2009 

The Port of Seattle Commission met in a special meeting on Wednesday, December 16,
at 7:00 p.m. at Pier 69.for the purpose of discussing the Commission's roles,
responsibilities and priorities. Commissioners Bryant, Creighton, and Tarleton were
present, as were Commissioners-elect Albro and Holland, and Port CEO Tay Yoshitani. 
1.     CALL TO ORDER 
The special meeting was called to order at 7:15 p.m. by Bill Bryant, President. 
2.     DISCUSSION
The Commission listed its most important priorities for 2010 as follows: 
o  The Century Agenda and the Centennial in 2011. 
o  Real Estate and Business Development. 
o  Advocacy for International Trade and Economic Development. 
o  Transportation Issues and Financing. 
o  Environmental Issues and Financing. 
o  Social Responsibility. 
The Commission also discussed its outside board memberships and outreach
activities. Port staff will provide some additional information. 
3.     ADJOURNMENT 
The special meeting was adjourned at 8:30 p.m.
