Box 1209 John Creighton Seattle, Washington 98111 Patricia Davis www. portseattle.org Lloyd Hara 206.728.3000 Gael Tarleton APPROVED MINUTES COMMISSION SPECIAL MEETING DECEMBER 16, 2009 The Port of Seattle Commission met in a special meeting on Wednesday, December 16, at 7:00 p.m. at Pier 69.for the purpose of discussing the Commission's roles, responsibilities and priorities. Commissioners Bryant, Creighton, and Tarleton were present, as were Commissioners-elect Albro and Holland, and Port CEO Tay Yoshitani. 1. CALL TO ORDER The special meeting was called to order at 7:15 p.m. by Bill Bryant, President. 2. DISCUSSION The Commission listed its most important priorities for 2010 as follows: o The Century Agenda and the Centennial in 2011. o Real Estate and Business Development. o Advocacy for International Trade and Economic Development. o Transportation Issues and Financing. o Environmental Issues and Financing. o Social Responsibility. The Commission also discussed its outside board memberships and outreach activities. Port staff will provide some additional information. 3.
