Project Objectives & Overview
Project Overview
Update Electrical Infrastructure, renewing and/or replacing existing normal
and emergency low voltage (480/277V and 208/120V) electrical distribution
equipment within the STIA parking garage
This will improve safety and reduce the risk of failures and outages at STIA
This equipment services mainly lighting panels in the parking garage
This project is part of a multiple project plan to upgrade electrical
infrastructure in the Main Terminal, Concourses B, C and D, and the
Parking Garage.

Project Scope
Replace approx. 80 electrical panels in STIA parking garage that are
both beyond their end-of-use to ensure compliance with current
National electrical code (NEC) requirements
Includes:
• New metering in replaced panelboards, with connection to the STIA
metering network
• Enhancements to electrical rooms including new doors and abatement
to meet code requirements
• Upgrades fire protection & HVAC systems to support electrical
equipment
• Circuit tracing and shared neutrals investigation
