COMMISSION SPECIAL MEETING MAY 29, 2013 
The Port of Seattle Commission met in a special meeting on Wednesday, May 29, 2013, at
Robinswood House, 2430 148th Avenue, Southeast, Bellevue, Washington, for the purpose of
holding a Commission retreat.  Commissioners Albro, Bowman, Bryant, Creighton, and Gregoire
were present. 
CALL TO ORDER 
The special meeting was called to order at 9:05 a.m. by Tom Albro, Commission President. 
The following topics were reviewed: 
Major policy issues (port study, competitiveness, industrial land policy, job creation,
economic development, and creating career advancement opportunities for employees
working for Port tenants or contractors, and real estate). 
The 2014 budget and the 2014 budget process. 
The Century Agenda. 
The Public Affairs Strategic Communications Plan. 
Commission Office issues. 
The special meeting was recessed at 11:00 a.m. for 10 minutes; at 12:30 p.m. for 28 minutes; and
at 3:05 p.m. for 20 minutes. 
ADJOURNMENT 
There being no further business, the special meeting was adjourned at 4:50 p.m.
