Box 1209 Commission Co-President Seattle, Washington 98111 Tom Albro www.portseattle.org Bill Bryant 206.787.3000 John Creighton APPROVED MINUTES COMMISSION SPECIAL MEETING SEPTEMBER 10-11, 2014 The Port of Seattle Commission met in a special meeting Wednesday, September 10, 2014, at the Suquamish Clearwater Resort, 15347 Suquamish Way Northeast, Suquamish, Washington, for the purpose of holding a Commission retreat. Commissioners Albro, Bowman, Bryant, Creighton, and Gregoire were present. CALL TO ORDER The special meeting was called to order at 6:30 p.m. The Commission engaged in a discussion with Port staff that included consideration of the following topics: Review of issues to come before the Port and Commission in the next six months. Review and scheduling of briefings and actions for future Commission meetings. Scheduling and calendaring of Ted Fick with stakeholders. Commission staffing and organization. Maritime competitive issues. RECESSED AND RECONVENED The special meeting of the Port of Seattle Commission was recessed at 10:00 p.m., September 10, 2014. The meeting reconvened at 7:30 a.m., September 11, 2014. The Commission continued its discussion with Port staff, including consideration of maritime competitive issues. No final actions were taken during this meeting. ADJOURNMENT There being no further business, the special meeting was adjourned at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday September 11.
