NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Pursuant to Chapter 53.08 RCW and Chapter 14.08 RCW, notice is hereby given that during the public session of the regular meeting of the Port Commission of the Port of Seattle commencing at approximately 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 27, 2016, in the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport Conference Center, there will be a public hearing for the purpose of considering whether to modify Unit 18 of the Comprehensive Scheme of Harbor Improvements of the Port of Seattle by declaring certain real property surplus and no longer needed for Port district purposes, to determine the advisability of the transfer of such property to King County and its deletion from said Comprehensive Scheme. The subject property is part of Unit 18 of the Comprehensive Scheme; said real property being legally described below: LEGAL DESCRIPTION That portion of the George E. King Donation Land Claim No. 40, in the southeast quarter of the northeast quarter, Section 31, Township 22 North, Range 5 East, W.M., in King County, Washington, described as follows: Commencing at a 6" X 6" sandstone monument marking the southwest corner of the R.H. Beatty Donation Land Claims Numbers 37 and 44; Thence south 89"00'01" east along the south line of said R.H. Beatty Donation Land Claim and the north line of the W.A. Cox Donation Land Claim Number 38, a distance of 2,643.18 feet to a 2" diameter concrete filled iron pipe marking the southeast corner of said R.H. Beatty Donation Land Claim and the northeast corner of said W.A. Cox Donation Land Claim; Thence continuing south 8900'01" east 2,255.93 feet to a point on a line established by boundary line agreement recorded under recording number 8110150749; Thence along said line, the following courses: south 4626'33" east, 103.72 feet; south 3419'49" east, 211.01 feet; south 0948'39" west, 412.45 feet; south 0143'38" east, 263.60 feet; south 0838'47" west, 208.18 feet to southeast corner of Tract "P" as shown on the Plat for Trail Run Division 3, filed for record December 18, 2009 in Volume 254 of Maps, pages 9 through 14, and recorded under recording number 20091218001114, said corner also being the point of beginning; Thence continuing along the line established by said boundary line adjustment, the following courses; south 2317'33" west, 479.64 feet; south 0433'51" east, 300.00 feet; Thence leaving said line, north 1725'38" west, 313.44 feet; Thence north 0738'50" east, 448.66 feet to the south line of said Tract P; Thence south 8849'05" east and along said south line, 200 feet to the point of beginning. Maps and other data showing the above legally described real property are now on file at the Real Estate Development and Planning Division of the Port of Seattle at SeaTac International Airport offices at 17801 International Boulevard, Seattle, Washington. Such maps and other data will be available at said hearing. The Port Commission will also hear from all persons desiring to speak with regard to the adoption or rejection of an appropriate resolution modifying the Port's existing Comprehensive Scheme by declaring such above described real property surplus and no longer needed for Port district purposes, authorizing its transfer to King County and deleting said property from Unit 18 of the Comprehensive Scheme.
