Project Synopsis
This project will install a 400Hz ground power
system consisting of two motor generators, gate
boxes, stingers and other equipment to all 13 gates
on the B Concourse.
No incremental costs to the airlines - airlines pay the
same lease rate regardless of the amenities provided
at the gates.
The B Concourse gates at SEATAC do not provide an
equivalent level of service to the airlines as all the
other airport gates.

What has changed
Project was 100% designed in 2011, since that time gates B1
and B4 have been added to the B Concourse
The PC air project has been completed on the B Concourse.
The airlines and aircraft electrical load requirements have
changed
The National Electrical Codes have changed.
The B Concourse 400Hz system design was deferred given that
we did not know what airlines and aircraft types would be using
B Concourse.

Limitations of Translatable Documents

PDF files are created with text and images are placed at an exact position on a page of a fixed size.
Web pages are fluid in nature, and the exact positioning of PDF text creates presentation problems.
PDFs that are full page graphics, or scanned pages are generally unable to be made accessible, In these cases, viewing whatever plain text could be extracted is the only alternative.
