PORT OF SEATTLE MEMORANDUM COMMISSION AGENDA Item No. 7b STAFF BRIEFING Date of Meeting April 3, 2012 DATE: March 16, 2012 TO: Tay Yoshitani, Chief Executive Officer FROM: Ralph Graves, Managing Director, Capital Development SUBJECT: Capital Improvement Projects for the Fourth Quarter, 2011 BACKGROUND: The Commission has received the Capital Improvement Projects Report for the fourth quarter of 2011. This presentation provides an update on the status of all projects managed by Aviation Project Management, Seaport Project Management and Information and Communications Technology which have a reportable condition relating to budget, schedule or scope. This report is intended to meet the reporting requirements of the Port of Seattle Commission Resolution No. 3605, as amended, and the Commission motion of January 8, 2008, regarding "Report on Major Capital Projects." STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES: This briefing is in compliance with the Port's strategy to "Ensure Airport and Seaport Vitality" through financial performance.
