BACKGROUND: Pursuant to Section 2 of Resolution No. 3195, the Port Commission annually authorizes possible Commission international travel that can be anticipated for the year. Any additional international travel not included in the original request must be approved separately by the Commission in a public meeting. The Tourism Sales Mission to the United Kingdom and Germany and the Governor's Trade Mission to India and South Korea were not included in the original authorization last January and are being added to allow a Commissioner to participate. 1st Quarter Customer Calls Asia 2nd Quarter Trade Development Alliance/ Greater Seattle Chamber of Commerce International Study Mission Chile and Panama 3rd Quarter: Seattle's Convention and Visitor Bureau United Kingdom and Germany (new) and the Port of Seattle's Tourism Sales Mission 4th Quarter Governor's Trade Mission India and South Korea (new)
