SUBJECT:  Amendment to 2016 Lander Agreement 

ACTION REQUESTED 
Request Commission authorization for the Executive Director to amend the memorandum of
agreement related to the Lander Street Grade Separation Project between the Port of Seattle
and City of Seattle executed on August 31, 2016. 
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY 
On August 31, 2016, the Port and the City of Seattle executed an agreement related the Lander
Street Grade Separation Project that included the Port's contribution of $5 million to the
project. That contribution will increase to a total of $15 million with the execution of the Safe
and Swift Corridor Program Memorandum of Understanding. The purpose of this action item is
to amend the payment scheduled defined by the original 2016 agreement.
