Minutes Exhibit B Port Commission Regular Meeting of July 25, 2017 SHARE/WHEEL Tent City5 Interbay P O Box 2548 Seattle, WA 98111 206-956-0334 tc5interbay@sharewheel.org 121u1y2017 Dear Port of Seattle Staff and Commissioners: Greetings from the members of SHARE/WHEEL'S Tent CityS Interbay! We are 65-70 homeless people including families with children. Almost two years ago, the City of Seattle and King County declared a State of Emergency. The City established guidelines for permitting and supporting organized outdoor communities. We were founded in November 2015, and have been at 3234 17th Avenue West ever since. We have a great reputation and great relationships with our Magnolia, Interbay and Queen Anne neighbors. We would like to meet with you very soon to discuss matters of mutual concern. Homelessness remains a crisis of unprecedented proportions, with many dying on the streets, and more homeless people than ever before. Everybody needs to pitch in! We look forward to your participation, and discussion of ways to ease this terrible crisis. Please contact our Organizer, Michele Marchand, at (206) 956-0334 to set up a meeting. If we don't hear from you very soon, we will follow up with you. Thank you! . Sincerely, eMW K \ " r Members of SHARE/WHEEL'S Tent C'tyS Interbay \C/iA (PK 5.
