Activities during the month of July 2012 included: Participated in four Century Agenda outreach activities. Held a Commission retreat to discuss the Century Agenda and the 2013 budget. Attended a Joint Advisory Committee meeting with the City of SeaTac. Co-chaired a Highline Forum meeting. Voted for the 2012 Regional Economic Strategy at an Economic Development District Board meeting. Attended a Trade Development Alliance Board meeting. Attended a Transportation Policy Board meeting. Attended a Freight Mobility Strategic Advisory Board meeting. Attended a Puget Sound Regional Council Executive Board meeting. Attended the Washington Public Ports Association (WPPA) Commissioners Seminar and an Executive Committee meeting of the WPPA Board of Governors. Spoke to the Auburn Chamber of Commerce on jobs, regional partnership and economic recovery. Spoke to the Eastside Transportation Association on various highway and freight mobility issues. Spoke at a City Business Casual event highlighting the fishing and maritime industries sponsored by the City of Seattle Office of Economic Development. Participated in a Publicola panel on the proposed sports arena. Participated in the All Nippon Airways' (ANA) inaugural flight ceremonies in honor of ANA's new non-stop service between Seattle and Tokyo. Participated in a courtesy call with a delegation from Kobe, Japan, in conjunction with the commemoration of the 45th anniversary of the Sister Port relationship between the Port of Seattle and the Port of Kobe. Spoke at a reception and a luncheon commemorating the 45th anniversary of our Sister Port relationship with the Port of Kobe.
