SUBJECT:  International Arrival Facility Progress Briefing 
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY 
This briefing is in response to the Commission motion of September 2018 requesting periodic
briefings regarding the construction status of the International Arrivals Facility (IAF). 
This briefing will cover the cost and schedule status of the IAF program, in addition to a briefing
from Clark Construction on construction progress and an update from the Commission's lead
Expert Review Panelist who will provide observations from its continuing assessment of the
program. 
IAF's scope includes a new 450,000 square foot arrivals building that can process 2,600
passengers during the busiest hour of the day, a connecting international corridor and a 760'
pedestrian walkway. It creates 20 international gates and includes seven bag claim devices and
forty CBP office processing podiums.  IAF is under construction with structural steel and
concrete  slabs  complete  for  the  main  building  and  curtain  wall  construction  well
underway. Structural steel has started for the center span of the pedestrian walkway offsite at
Air Cargo 2 and two of the four vertical circulation "pods" for the internationalcorridor are
finished. Management reserves have not yet been expended. The project is currently on track
to complete within its authorized GMP on May 30, 2020."
