COMMISSION SPECIAL MEETING JANUARY 25, 2019 
The Port of Seattle Commission held a special meeting,  Friday, January 25, 2019, as a
commission retreat session. The retreat was held at the Hyatt Regency Lake Washington, 1053
Lake Washington Boulevard North, Renton,  Washington. Commissioners Bowman, Calkins,
Felleman, Gregoire, and Steinbrueck were present. 
The meeting convened at approximately 8:30 a.m. 
Presentation materials included an informational packet. 
Commissioners discussed their 2019 priorities and communications, including internal committee
structures, external boards and commissions participation, and potential travel needs in 2019. 
Commission staff roles and processes were reviewed, and commissioners held conversations with
members of the port's executive leadership team about port-wide goals and priority setting. 
The commission retreat concluded by 3:45 p.m.
