JANAE FISHER

Port ofSeattle

Janae is a long-time Port of Seattle employee who currently
works in Port Construction Services. In spring 2018, Janae came
to Airport University to take Business Technology classes to
brush up on her computer skills. She has completed several
classes through Airport University and is on her way to earning
an Introduction to Office Assistant short-term certificate
through our partner Highline College. Janae has become a
champion of Airport University making connections between
our program and the Port that enrich the learning of airport
employees and job seekers.

Janae invited Lance Lyttle, Managing Director of Sea-Tac Airport, to speak to Airport University students about
the Port's customer service vision at the airport. Additionally, she secured several Port tradespeople to partici-
pate in an Apprenticeship Information Session at Airport Jobs. Says Janae: "Your work at Port Jobs provides op-
portunities, gives hope, and creates better lives for future generations. As an Airport University student, | am
grateful to be the recipient of such generosity. Thank you so very much!"
