Interbay Village Interbay Village has successfully sheltered over 200 individuals including single adults, couples, families with children, and pets since its opening No in November 2017. 62 of these residents have since transitioned into permanent housing. The village program is outperforming other shelter models throughout the City with rates of ibid transitions into permanent housing as high as Sree 49% at Interbay in 2019, compared to the Ld Lm re 3 - average 4% of traditional shelters. On-site case BiB has management helps residents obtain housing, ul employment, healthcare, education, and other R services. | RY Port Commissioner Peter The recent expansion of the village nearly Steinbrueck posing with a resident doubled the number of tiny homes from 23 to 42, during a tour of the village. and included the addition of plumbed hygiene facilities. We are grateful to the many volunteers and donors that made the expansion possible. Special thanks to the Port of Seattle for supporting the tiny house program and working with us to offer safe and dignified responses to homelessness.
