COMMISSION SPECIAL MEETING
FEBRUARY 29, 2024
The Port of Seattle Commission met in a special meeting Thursday, February 29, 2024. The meeting
was held at the Willows Lodge, 14580 NE 145th St, Woodinville, Washington. Commissioners
Calkins, Cho, Felleman, Hasegawa, and Mohamed were present. (Commission Office staff and
Commissioners attended a social breakfast the morning of March 1, 2024.) The meeting was held
on location only and no action was taken.
CALL to ORDER
Pursuant to RCW 42.30 and Article IV, Section 8, of the commission bylaws, the meeting convened
at 9:30 a.m. for the purpose of conducting a retreat with Commission Office staff.
DISCUSSION
The retreat was facilitated by Matthew Echohawk-Hayashi of Headwater People Consulting.
Discussion items included: values and vision; strengths and successes; communication and
operations of the Commission Office, and the Century Agenda.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned at 5:00 p.m.
