APPROVED MINUTES 
COMMISSION SPECIAL MEETING FEBRUARY 8, 2013 
The Port of Seattle Commission met in a special meeting Friday, February 8, 2013, at Port of
Seattle Headquarters, Commission Chambers, 2711 Alaskan Way, Seattle, Washington.
Commissioners Albro, Bryant, Creighton, and Holland were present. 
CALL TO ORDER 
The special meeting was called to order at 2:08 p.m. by Tom Albro, Commission President. 
MOTION 
Commissioner Bryant offered and subsequently withdrew a motion to exempt the February 8,
2013, executive session that would follow the public session from electronic recording on an
exceptional, one-time basis. 
EXECUTIVE SESSION pursuant to RCW 42.30.110 
The special meeting was immediately recessed to an executive session estimated to last
approximately three hours  to discuss matters  relating to evaluation of the qualifications of
candidates for appointment to elective office. 
ADJOURNMENT 
Following the executive session, which lasted approximately 40 minutes, the special meeting
reconvened in open public session at 3:03 p.m. and immediately adjourned.
