Dear Port of Commission,
My name is Harjinder Gill and I drive Yellow Cab 711 and merging to Ecab. My
services have been provided since 1991 and I am speaking on behalf of 7 cab owners
including myself who are merging to Ecab. We all drive vans as it was a necessity to
drive CNG type of vans when Yellow Cab took over at the airport. Our vans heavily
provide services during cruise ship season and the holidays as parties of 4+ are in need
of a taxi cab with more seats. As of recent we all switched to gasoline vans due to the
lack of services of CNG vans in the area. Yellow Cab forced us to stick with the vans.
All 5 cab owners including me changed vans from CNG to gasoline from the time period
of December 2015 to September 2016. Each driver spent $17,000-$36,000.

As of last week, Ecab gave us a notice last Friday (October 14,2016) that our vans will
be terminated. Ecab claimed that Sea-Tac airport wants CNG vans or Toyota Prius
instead of regular vans. With this sudden change, each driver will be in a $17,000-
$36,000 debt Even if we all try to sell our vans none of us will make $1 ,000 since they
were used for taxi purposes. After everything that was said, we would all like to request
the continuation of the use of our vans.
