OSR STATEMENT OF SUPPORT FOR THE AIRPORT CONCESSIONS PROGRAM

At the direction of the Port Commission and CEO Fick, the Office of Social
Responsibility will expand its communityoutreach efforts to include business
opportunities for small, minority and wdmen owned businesses at SeaTac airport,
as part of the airport concessions master'plan. Initial recommendations include:

1. OSR will support the Aviation Division in the direct engagement with
community leaders to describe the airport business opportunities and the
process to participate
2. Community meetings to ensure transparency in communication, reassure
fairness and confidence building in a fair and equitable process carried out in
compliance with all required USDOT and FAA regulations
3. Work closely with key partners such as Alexis Oliver, director of the Office of
Minority Business Enterprises (OMWBE) and her team to support the ACDBE
certification process.
4. Active participation by OSR staff and airport leadership and airport staff in
relevant meeting with community advocates such as Tabor 100, key media
outlets in the minority communities and Ethnic chambers of commerce to
disseminate opportunities at the airport
