Motion
The Port of Seattle has maintained consistent engagement in the transportation
planning and investment work in the state, including participation in the
Transportation Partnership, the Connecting Washington task force, FAST Corridor,
Puget Sound Regional Council, and ongoing membership on the Freight Mobility
Strategic Investment Board, as well as regional transportation planning groups.

The Port supports transportation infrastructure investment, efficient use of
_
revenue and equitable benefit for freight mobility projects; and opposes policies

or funding for projects which disproportionately tax freight conveyors and harms
the Puget Sound's gateway competitiveness.

We therefore move that the Port of Seattle continue to advocate for port
interests as the 2013 Washington Legislature considers proposals for necessary
investments in transportation.

PDF files are created with text and images are placed at an exact position on a page of a fixed size.
Web pages are fluid in nature, and the exact positioning of PDF text creates presentation problems.
PDFs that are full page graphics, or scanned pages are generally unable to be made accessible, In these cases, viewing whatever plain text could be extracted is the only alternative.
