SUBJECT:  Special Order of Business  Commission Activities Report 
At the first Commission meeting of every month, the Commission will note its major
activities of the previous month. Activities during the month of December 2012 
included: 
Adopted the Century Agenda at the December 4, 2012, Commission Meeting. 
Testified in favor of proposed ordinance No. 2012-0353 authorizing King County
to acquire portions of the Eastside Rail Corridor from the Port of Seattle at a King
County Council meeting. 
Spoke to the AgForestry Leadership Class. 
Attended the quarterly Joint Advisory Committee meeting with City of SeaTac 
Councilmembers. 
Welcomed attendees and attended the Global Washington Conference. 
Presented the "Volunteer of the Year Award" to a volunteer at Seattle-Tacoma
International Airport. 
Attended Governor-elect Inslee's Transportation Advisory Group and Economic
Advisory Group meetings. 
Attended a Seattle Convention and Visitors Bureau board meeting. 
Attended the Public Officials Reception 2012 hosted by the Seattle Chamber of
Commerce. 
Attended the 9th annual Eastside Elected Officials Reception hosted by the
Bellevue Chamber of Commerce. 
Attended the Urban League of Metropolitan Seattle's annual breakfast. 
Attended a World Affairs Council luncheon. 
Attended a Propeller Club luncheon.

Web pages are fluid in nature, and the exact positioning of PDF text creates presentation problems.
PDFs that are full page graphics, or scanned pages are generally unable to be made accessible, In these cases, viewing whatever plain text could be extracted is the only alternative.
