SUBJECT:  Ratification of Commission Officers for 2017 
ACTION REQUESTED 
Request Commission ratification of the following Commission Officers for 2017, effective
immediately with the duties as described in adopted Resolution No. 3733, including the
obligation of the Vice President to serve as President in 2018: Tom Albro, President; Courtney
Gregoire, Vice President; Stephanie Bowman, Secretary; Fred Felleman, Assistant Secretary;
and John Creighton, Commissioner at Large. 
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY 
Resolution No. 3733 amended the official regular meeting schedule of the Port Commission and
revised the definition of the Commission Vice President to include the obligation to serve as
President in the following calendar year after being elected Vice President. Because of the
significant change in responsibilities, the resolution called for ratification of a slate of officers
prior to becoming effective. This action completes that requirement and fully implements the
new duties described in the resolution. 
DETAILS 
The officers proposed for ratification are the same officers elected in January for 2017. They
include the following: 
President:           Tom Albro 
Vice President:        Courtney Gregoire 
Secretary:           Stephanie Bowman 
Assistant Secretary:     Fred Felleman 
Commissioner at Large:  John Creighton 
With ratification of this slate of officers, Courtney Gregoire would have the duty to serve as
Audit Committee Chair, a role she currently fills, and she would be elected President of the
Commission for 2018. At its first meeting in January, the Commission again will elect a Vice
President, Secretary, and Assistant Secretary for 2018.

Passage. The resolution provided for the Commission Vice President to become

for the Commission Vice President to become President in the following calendar year. 
January 17, 2017  The Commission elected officers for 2017.
