Good Afternoon Commissioners and Executive Director Metruck, My name is Rod O'Neal and I am the co-owner of SeaTac Bar Group, a Veteran business, that operates the Africa Lounge and Mountain Room at SEA on Concourse A. SeaTac Bar Group is a long standing tenant at the Port. I am writing today in support of the Introductory Food and Beverage Small Business Kiosk. The aviation industry is facing tough times, however we are resilient and will make it through as we have so many times before. As a small black owned business I understand the barriers to entry in business especially at the airport. It is an important step for the Port to show residents of South King County that it truly cares and will continually provide opportunities for small businesses to thrive. I think the small business kiosk program at SEA is one of the best in the country and the ADR team has provided tremendous support and mentoring to the participants. I'm excited about this project because it will allow businesses like SeaTac Bar group to mentor these businesses and provide them with the tools to be successful. Thank you. Rod
