  • COSME, THE KOREA SOUTH SMALL, MEDIUM ENTERPRISE AND STARTUPS AGENCY
  • AT THE CONFERENCE ASSIGNED A MEMORANDUM AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE PORT AND COSME TO FACILITATE THE ATTRACTION OF KOREAN SMALL AND MEDIUM SIZED ENTERPRISES, INCLUDING STARTUPS, TO THE REGION, AND AND CONTRIBUTE TO THE REGION'S ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AND LEADERSHIP IN INNOVATION
  • THIS IS A COLLABORATION AS A DIRECT RESULT OF THE RECENT REGIONAL LEADERSHIP MISSION TO SOUTH KOREA THAT THE PORT, LED BY COMMISSIONER CHO, PARTICIPATED IN TO CONCLUDE OUR OPERATIONAL UPDATES
  • I WANTED TO SHARE THAT I RECENTLY SENT A LETTER TO GOVERNOR INSLEE'S OFFICE ON BEHALF OF THE PORT ENDORSING THE APPOINTMENT OF CHAD SI, EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR FOR THE FRASER LONG LINE COALITION, AN INTERIM SEAT ON THE NORTH PACIFIC FISHERY MANAGEMENT COUNCIL
  • IT'S A BITTERSWEET MOMENT AS I'M PLEASED TO SUPPORT CHAD'S APPOINTMENT, BUT ALSO ACKNOWLEDGE THAT THE MARITIME INDUSTRY IS STILL MOURNING THE LOSS OF KENNY DOWN, WHO FORMERLY HELD THE SEAT KENNY WAS WHO FORMALLY HELD THAT SEAT ON THE FISHERIES MANAGEMENT COUNCIL
