RESOLUTION NO. 3723 

A RESOLUTION of the Port Commission of the Port of Seattle declaring 
certain personal property, construction equipment SPE.8579,
SWP.1182, SPE.1201 as surplus for Port District purposes
and  authorizing  the  Chief  Executive  Officer  to  execute 
all documents necessary for its sale or disposal. 

WHEREAS, the voters of King County, pursuant to the provisions of enabling
legislation adopted by the Legislature of the State of Washington, Chapter 92, Laws of 
1911, Revised Code of Washington (RCW) 53.04.010 authorized and approved at a 
special  election held  in  King  County  on  the  fifth  day  of  September,  1911,  the 
formation  of  a  port  district coextensive with King County to be known as the Port of 
Seattle; and 
WHEREAS, the Port of Seattle (Port) was thereupon established as a port 
district and has since been and now is a duly authorized and acting port district of the 
State of Washington; and 
WHEREAS, the Port of Seattle owns certain personal property described below; and 
WHEREAS, said property is no longer needed for its intended purpose, or other
purposes of the Port; and 
WHEREAS, the Port desires to surplus said personal property and dispose of it
pursuant to RCW 53.08.090; and 
WHEREAS, the estimated value of said personal property is not less than $18,000,
and therefore requires Port Commission authorization to be surplused in accordance with 
RCW 53.08.090 and the annually renewed motion of the Port Commission delegating to the
Port Chief Executive Officer authority to surplus personal property with a value of $18,000
or more. 
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Port Commission of the 
Port of Seattle as follows: 
Section 1: The following personal property is no longer needed for Port purposes and it is in
the best interests of the Port that said property be declared surplus and sold or disposed of:

Section 2: The Chief Executive Officer is authorized to take all steps and execute all 
documents necessary for the disposal of said property in accordance with state law. 
Section  3:  Any  acts  of  the  Director  of  the  Central  Procurement  Office  made 
consistent with the authority and prior to the effective date of this Resolution are hereby 
ratified and confirmed. 
ADOPTED by the Port Commission of the Port of Seattle at a dulynoticed meeting

signatures of the Commissioners voting in favor thereof and the seal of the Commission.
