SUBJECT:  2016 Economic Development Division Operating and Capital Budget
Briefing 
SYNOPSIS: 
The purpose of this briefing is to discuss the proposed 2016 Economic Development 
Division Operating and Capital budget with the Commission. 
BACKGROUND: 
In September, staff presented the 2016-2020 Economic Development Division Business
Plan to the Port Commission. The briefing highlighted economic development goals to
create jobs and advance the Century Agenda as well as the related outcome measures to
focus Port energy and investments. The briefing also addressed the major and new
initiatives that would impact the 2016 budget.
On October 13, 2015 staff will brief the Commission on the Economic Development 
Division Operating and Capital proposed budgets.
