BACKGROUND: 
The Port Commission is hosting a roundtable discussion on the health of Puget Sound and how Port
of Seattle maritime operations contribute positively to that health 
BRIEFING OUTLINE: 
The Commission and panelists will discuss, in round table format, how the Port of Seattle can most
effectively do our part to restore Puget Sound. 
Specifically the questions would be to discussed: 
1)  The Puget Sound Partnership recently published indicators and targets. Which are most relevant
to the Port of Seattle, specifically with respect to operation of our Marine Terminals and
marinas? 
2)  What Best Management Practices should the Port of Seattle begin to contemplate in order to do
our part to help achieve these targets? 
3)  How could the broader community be engaged in this effort?
