A group of airline representatives met with Airport staff on June 27th to discuss the potential for a GRE installation. as well as location options and the financial and operational viabilities associated with it. During the meeting, there were several questions raised over the justification and need for that it would place on the airlines a GRE given the nancial burden and operational constraints who underwrite the development, financing, operation, and management of Sea-Tao International GRE. The Airport. We encourage the Commission to consider all of the costs associated with a airlines believe that the GRE may require approximately $50 million of additional investment beyond the cost of the structure itself. The AAAC will conduct a more indepth review of the information discussed at the meeting and submit detailed comments outlining our position during the Public Comment process.
