These awards recognize a Port employee or team who has championed increased Small Business participation at the Port during calendar year 2009 and a Small Business from our roster who provided outstanding products or services to the Port also in 2009. The 2010 Internal and External Small Business Champion honorees are: Aviation Maintenance Small Works Team: John Deen, CPO Contract Administrator and Jeff Martens, Av/Maintenance Small Works Inspector. "Jeff and John are a successful team who have worked tirelessly ensuring that AV/Maintenance Small Business contractors understand and comply with the applicable laws, contract terms, safety requirements and how to professionally interface with the Port departments and staff who receive the work performed by the contractors. This consistent effort is demonstrated in the case of excellent interaction with CD Construction, a small business regional contractor, who successfully completed a repair project in baggage claim at the airport as well as their ongoing work with landscaping, glazing, and flooring contractors." Westgro Corporation "The Westgro landscaping team working at Seattle Tacoma International Airport is an outstanding performing contractor in the following areas: Employees are proactive and self motivated in keeping all landscape areas well groomed and free of litter throughout the year, which is key to the appearance of our airport as the landscaping is one of the first things you see when you approach the airport and one of the last you see when you depart. Employees are always looking out for the environment and understand the Port's commitment to be the cleanest and greenest in the country. We continue to make great strides in this area in support of the Port's mission of creating economic vitality and jobs in our region.

Web pages are fluid in nature, and the exact positioning of PDF text creates presentation problems.
PDFs that are full page graphics, or scanned pages are generally unable to be made accessible, In these cases, viewing whatever plain text could be extracted is the only alternative.
