To: Port Commissioners

My name is Mina Amin, Program Director of the YWCA South King County Employment Services. Our
organization has worked closely with Port Jobs on several community projects for many years. I am
pleased to support Port Jobs in continuing their contract with the Port of Seattle.

Through our partnership with Port Jobs and a grant by the White Center Community Development
Association, our organizations offer Job interviewing and Preparation classes quarterly. These classes
assist White Center, Tukwila, Burien, and Boulevard Park families to become economically sufcient by
connecting them with airport employment, education, and other community resources. This year,
despite the state of the current economy, we have successfully placed over 30 individuals with Airport
employment because of our partnership with Port Jobs.

I am looking forward to our continuing collaboration with Port Jobs, and whole-heedly
support their
program continuation in the future. You are welcome to contact me regarding our relationship with Port
Jobs. Thank you for your time.
'ncerely,
Program Director
South King County Employment Services
