PORT OF SEATTLE MEMORANDUM DATE: July 30, 2010 TO: Gael Tarleton, Vice President, Port of Seattle Commission FROM: Bill Bryant, President, Port of Seattle Commission SUBJECT: Written Consent for First Reading and Second Reading and Final Passage of Resolution No. 3639 I will be unable to attend part of the port commission special meeting on August 3, 2010, to be held in Woodinville, WA., and may not be present when Resolution No. 3639 is considered and voted upon by the commission. However, I am familiar with Resolution No. 3639 which relates to the purchase by the Port of Seattle of the 42-mile rail corridor known as the "Woodinville Subdivision" located in King and Snohomish counties. In accordance with Article VIII, Section 1, of the commission bylaws adopted on March 24, 2009, I consent to Resolution No. 3639 being introduced for First Reading at the August 3, 2010, special meeting and being placed on the agenda for final action (Second Reading and Final Passage) at the same meeting (August 3, 2010) at which it is first introduced. Please enter this advance written consent in the official minutes of the meeting as required by the bylaws.
