2018 SAMP OUTREACH
In 2018 the Port undertook a comprehensive public awareness campaign to update the region on the status
of the Airport's Sustainable Airport Master Plan (SAMP). The campaign included formal community meetings,
presentations and engagement with local governments and community leaders, informal tabling, direct mail,
paid advertising, an online open house and webinar.This phase was to report out on the status of the planning,
answer questions and point people to the SAMP Near-Term Projects environmental review scoping that was held
between July 30 - September 28, 2018.
