7                 A RESOLUTION of the Port of Seattle Commission authorizing the
8                                        Executive Director to sell and convey port personal
9                                        property   in   2022   in   accordance   with   RCW
10                                    53.08.090 with a value not greater than $21,000 and
11                                    repealing Resolution No. 3784, dealing with the
12                                    same subject.

14            WHEREAS,  the  voters  of  King  County,  pursuant  to  the  provisions  of  enabling
15    legislation adopted by the legislature of the State of Washington, Chapter 92, Laws of 1911,
16    RCW 53.040.010, authorized and approved at a special election held in King County on the 5th 
17    day of September 1911, the formation of a port district co-extensive with King County to be
18    known as the Port of Seattle; and 
19            WHEREAS, the Port of Seattle was thereupon established as a port district and has since
20    been and now is a duly authorized and acting port district of the State of Washington; and 
21            WHEREAS, the Port of Seattle owns personal property and, from time to time, may sell
22    or convey such property pursuant to RCW 53.08.090 and RCW 39.33. 
23            NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Port Commission of the Port of
24    Seattle as follows: 
25            Section 1. The Port Commission of the Port of Seattle hereby delegates to the Executive
26    Director of the Port of Seattle the authority to sell and convey port personal property of a value
27    established annually by resolution.

29            Section 2. The value of Port personal property that may be sold and conveyed by the
30    Executive Director in 2022, in accordance with Section 1, shall be $21,000.00 or less, per
31    occurrence. 
32            Section 3. Pursuant to RCW 53.08.090, the port commission may annually renew the
33    Executive Director's authority under this resolution and adjust the property value limit under
34    Section  2  based  on  the  governmental  price  index  established  by  the  Washington  State
35    Department of Revenue.
36            Section 4. Resolution No. 3784, dealing with the same subject, is hereby repealed. 
37            ADOPTED by the Port Commission of the Port of Seattle, at a duly noticed meeting held
38    this 14th day of December, 2021, and duly authenticated in open session by the signatures of the
39    Commissioners voting in favor thereof and the seal of the Commission.
