Project synopsis 
This project will install a Port owned and
operated 400Hz motor generator ground
power system & equipment to all 13 gates on
Concourse B. 
Reduces noise and emissions from fossil
fueled ground powered units and aircraft
APUs

Project changes 
Original cost estimate to complete this project
was; $6,489,000. 
Updated cost estimate to complete this project
is now; $7,710,000.
Project was 100% designed in 2011. Since that time
gates B1 and B4 have been added to the Concourse. 
National Electric Codes (NEC) have changed. 
Aircraft electrical ground power load requirements have
changed. 
Equipment costs and labor rates have increased.
