Project Background 
Strong passenger growth creates more traveler congestion in
CTE and drives more demand for restaurant service. 
The 2005 CTE project provided mezzanine level space for later
development when supported by passenger demand. 
Forecast growth in service demand requires development of the
of the North and South CTE mezzanines for public use in 2016-
2017 
The existing CTE Air Handling Units (AHUs) cannot provide
sufficient capacity for any additional space occupancy. 

Additional HVAC is necessary in CTE to serve growing numbers of travelers

Project Scope 
Design and construction of two new roof top mounted
AHUs to provide additional HVAC capacity. 
Provide ductwork from the new AHUs to the CTE
mezzanine level for restaurant development. 
Redirect the existing CTE emergency smoke control
system pathways. 

Detailed design and construction adjacent to, and above, businesses and is required
