MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING

Re: Modication to Non-Sworn Supervisors CBA 
Police Administrative Supervisor Hours of Work, Meal Period, and Wages

Teamsters Local Union No. 117 and the Port of Seattle, signatories to a 2011-2013 Collective Bargaining
Agreement (CBA) for Non-Sworn Supervisors, hereby agree to modify the CBA as follows:

1.  Effective March 26, 2012, the Police Administrative Supervisor position shall no longer
receive the thirty (30) minute paid meal time provided in Article 12.02 of the Collective
Bargaining Agreement. Tire Police Administrative Supervisor will continue to work a
normally scheduied workweek of forty (40) hours, but all hours shall be worked and the
meal period shall be unpaid. The time spent performing work will increase from seven
and one half (7 V2) hours per day to eight (8) hours per day.

2.  Effective March 26, 2012, the Port will increase the Police Administrative Supervisor's
hourly rate proportionate to the increased amount of work required to be performed to be
compensated for the forty (40) hour workweek. Upon implementation of this MOU, the
base hourly rate in Appendix A of the CBA shall be increased from $32.65 to $34.83
(6.7% increase).

3.  This MOU, along with the CBA, is the fuli and final agreement on the subject of hours of
work and pay for the Police Administrative Supervisor.

4.  All other terms and conditions of the CBA shall remain in full force and effect. Should any terms
and conditions in this MOU conict with the CBA, this MOU shall control.

5.  This MOU will remain in effect through December 31, 2013.

This MOU is agreed to and entered into on the         day of        2012.
