Exhibit G
Minutes Exhibit G Port Commission Special Meeting of November 10, 2015 November 9, 2015 ( Paul 1/Vhite, Commission Clerk Subject: Comment on Commission Meeting Nov 10 Agenda, Item 6a My name is Steven Cohn and my wife and I have lived in the Sunset West Condominiums for about 21 years. The Seaview Boatyard is located immediately north ofthe condominium complex, on the other side of the fence which separates the two properties. I am interested in the proposed expansion of the Seaview Boatyard since we are located so close to it. The prevailing wind is from north to south, so the residents of my condominium are affected by noise and any air pollutants which come off the property. While I am pleased to hear that the proposal includes an expansion of the covered paint facility, I am somewhat apprehensive when I see workers who are wearing protective headgear and are sanding and scraping hulls in the uncovered portion of the Boatyard. I am concerned that this protects the workers but I am not sure about the outside environment. I understand from your staff that the Boatyard folks maintain Best Management Practices and I appreciate that. Whatever your decision regarding the Boatyard expansion, I request that the Commission and staff reaffirm a commitment to ensuring that the Seaview Boatyard continues to maintain BMPs and operates in accordance with rules from DOE and Air Quality control agencies so that air quality standards are met. I want to thank the Port Outreach staff for being responsive to my questions. If Commissioners or staff have questions of me or would like clarifications of my comments, don't hesitate to contact me. Thank you for your time and attention to this matter. Steven Cohn seaviewpacifc@gmail.com
