i know you're new to your position at the Port, but as a Tacoma native you really shouid

know the values of Puget Sound residents better than signing a lease with Foss demonstrates,

and for your $350,000 a year salary we, the tax payers whose monies helps pay your salary,

expect you to do a much better job representing our values. Some may consider Puget Sound

residents your employers, and a couple of weeks ago many of us expressed to you we felt you

made a mistake by signing that lease and asked that you correct said mistake. When the

people i. know in my income bracket get called into the boss' office and are told they made a

error, they are expected to listen respectfully and set out to correct their error. i did not see

you look at me once when i was last speaking to you, and thus far i have not seen any evidence

you are trying to fix your mistake, behaviors an employee in my income bracket would be
reprimanded for, if not fired. So, in my opinion, you do all you can to fix the problem of leasing
Terminal 5 to Foss/Shell, or as part of a large group of Seattle area residents who feel the same

way, i will feei it necessary to ask for your resignation and/or contact those in charge of you to

ask them to terminate your employment with the Port. With further investigation i may find

other Board or Executive members I feel this way about. I already know who won't get my vote

next election, and l want to thank Commissioners Albro and Gregoire for standing up and doing

the right thing.
