MOTION REGARDING THE WAIVER OF ATTORNEY-CLIENT PRIVILEGE 
ON THE LEGAL OPINION PREPARED BY OUTSIDE COUNSEL 
RELATED TO THE CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER'S APPOINTMENT 
TO THE EXPEDITORS INTERNATIONAL BOARD OF DIRECTORS 
September 11, 2012 

Motion 
The Commission hereby waives attorney-client privilege on the legal opinion prepared by Timothy G. Leyh and
Katherine Kennedy related to the Chief Executive Officer's appointment to the Expeditors International Board of
Directors and authorizes staff to post the opinion on the Port's website for public view.

Limitations of Translatable Documents

PDF files are created with text and images are placed at an exact position on a page of a fixed size.
Web pages are fluid in nature, and the exact positioning of PDF text creates presentation problems.
PDFs that are full page graphics, or scanned pages are generally unable to be made accessible, In these cases, viewing whatever plain text could be extracted is the only alternative.
