Dear Ms. Dearmin and Ms. Monrad:
The Port Commission appreciates the commitment your organizations have made to foster
communication and collaborative community involvement. The Neighbor's Advisory Committee
(NAC) is important to the Port's success, and the group's input is key in the operation and future
planning at Terminal 91.
According to the Neighbors' Advisory Short Fill Redevelopment Agreement as amended 1998,
the Neighbors Advisory Committee Chairperson is to be nominated by the Port of Seattle
Commission and approved by the Magnolia Community Club and the Queen Anne Community
Council annually.
Please accept this letter as the Port of Seattle Commission action to nominate Mr. Bruce Laing to
continue in his role as chair for the Neighborhood Advisory Board. Mr. Laing has acted as
Chairman since 2007.
Thank you for your consideration.

Sincerely,

Bill Bryant
President
Port of Seattle Commission
