Amendment Process

Proposed Amendment Procedure
The Port and the Department of Ecology will post a 21-day call
for proposed amendments every three years.
The MOU signatories will review any proposed amendments
and determine if any of the MOU participants will sponsor a
proposed amendment
The sponsored amendments will be posted for public
review/comment prior to being voted on by the signatories
Following public review/comment, the Commission will
review amendment to determine the Port's official position by
a formal vote. Port staff will present the results of the vote to
the MOU group as our Port position on the amendment

Limitations of Translatable Documents

PDF files are created with text and images are placed at an exact position on a page of a fixed size.
Web pages are fluid in nature, and the exact positioning of PDF text creates presentation problems.
PDFs that are full page graphics, or scanned pages are generally unable to be made accessible, In these cases, viewing whatever plain text could be extracted is the only alternative.
