BACKGROUND

Pursuant to Section 2 of Resolution No. 3195, at the beginning of each calendar year, the Port
Commission is required to consider and approve a motion authorizing potential Commission international
travel which can be anticipated for the year. It is recommended that Commission authorization be granted
for the potential international travel outlined below. 
1st Quarter: 
None 
2nd Quarter: 
Seattle Chamber Inter-City Study Mission            Daejeon & Seoul, South Korea 
FRAEC Mission to Russia                     Vladivostok, Russia 
3rd Quarter: 
Trade Development Alliance Business & Trade Mission   China 
Customer Calls                           Asia 
4th Quarter: 
None
