RESOLUTION NO. 3625, as Amended

A RESO1,UTION of the I'ort Commission of the Port of
Seattle, amending Salary and Benefit
Resolution 3609 to include Administration
of Voluntary Separation Programs.
WHEREAS, the Port of Seattle Salary and Benefit Resolution No. 3609 was
adopted December 15,2008; and
WHEREAS, the Port of Seattle Salary and Benefit Resolution No. 3609 did not
contain a provision for Voluntary Separation Programs; and
WIIEItEAS, in response to economic conditions the Poi? of Seattle now wishes
to implement a Voluntary Separation Program for fiscal year 2009
NOW, TIIEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVEI), by the Port Cominission of the Port
of Seattle that:
Section 1. Salary and Benefit Iiesolution No. 3609 is amended to add the following
section:
IX. ADMINISrllIUTIONOF VO1,UNl'ARY SEPARATION PROGRAM
'l'heChiei'Executive Officer is authorized to establish and implement
Voluntary Separation Programs as needed in fiscal year 2009, and
amend benefits provided for in the Salary and Beneiit Resolution as
necessary to execute the provisioiis of any Voluntary Separation
I'rogram.  The Commission shall be notified of any aniendinents to
benefits prior to implementation of any Voluntary Separation Program.
Section 2. Former Section IX EFFECTIVE DATE is renumbered Section X.
