Dear Port Commission,
Seattle Chocolate would like to respectfully request a three month relief from the monthly rent expense in response to
the impact of the Corvid 19 virus and associated negative impact on business.
Seattle Chocolate employs 10 people at the store on the C Concourse and typically has between $5800$6000 in sales
each day. Effective March 24th the store is closed with an anticipated loss in sales of $109,000 for March and more
anticipated for April. We are currently paying the staff as we await unemployment approval from the state as we want
to ensure the health and wellbeing of our team members.
We respectfully asked for your assistance in ensuring the long term viability of our business.
Regards,
Lisa Luchau
