Port Commissioners,

I just became aware that you will be discussing the property where “Seattle Ship Supply” once
operated at Fishermen’s Terminal. On behalf of the Fishing Vessel Owners Association members,
many who moor their commercial vessels at the Terminal would like to see this facility upgraded and
leased out. We encourage the leasing to commercial fishing participants. We would encourage the
Port to seek industry involved in marketing, processing, hiring etc. for this facility. We have seen a
great letter sent to you by Mr. Peter Knutsen and our membership fully endorses his concerns and
comments.

Sincerely, Bob Alverson
