7                    A RESOLUTION of the Port Commission of the Port of Seattle
8                                          specifying the dollar and percentage change in the
9                                          regular property levy from the previous year per
10                                        RCW 84.55.120; providing for an increase of the
11                                        levy from $78,676,344 to $81,036,634.

13               WHEREAS, the Port of Seattle in the Commission has met and considered its
14      budget for the calendar year 2022; and 
15 
16               WHEREAS, the Port of Seattle's Commission, after hearing and duly considering all
17      relevant  evidence  and  testimony  presented  in  a  public  hearing  held  pursuant  to 
18      RCW 84.55.120, has determined the Port of Seattle requires a regular levy in the amount of
19      $81,036,634, which represents the levy rate of approximately $0.112 per thousand of
20      assessed value; and

22               WHEREAS, the levy amount includes an increase in property tax revenue from the
23      previous year to discharge the expenses and obligations of the district in its best interest.

25               NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Port Commission of the Port of 
26      Seattle that a property tax levy is hereby authorized in the amount of $81,036,634, an increase
27      of $2,360,290, a 3.0 percent increase from 2021. Excluding the new construction and refund
28      amount, the increase is $966,907 or 1.2 percent from 2021 for tax filing purposes.

30               ADOPTED by the Port Commission of the Port of Seattle at a duly noticed meeting held
31      this 16th day of November, 2021, and duly authenticated in open session by the signatures of the
32      Commissioners voting in favor thereof and the seal of the Commission.
